Philip Rivers made headlines last week when he signed with the Indianapolis Colts nearly five years after his retirement. Moreover, Rivers, 44, started in Indy's 18-16 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 15 on Sunday.

Since Rivers has made a sensational return to the NFL, former New England Patriots wideout Julian Edelman believes that Tom Brady, who is now 48, could still play in the league if the QB decides to unretire.

"That just confirmed to me that if Tom (unretires), Tom could still win a Super Bowl," Edelman said on the "Games With Names" podcast on Monday (12:04). "Not for the Raiders, not with that offensive line. If you protect Tom, I don't know about the Colts either.

"He'd have to go to, like, not the Chiefs. They don't have a O-line. He'd have to go to like Philadelphia, but they don't have an O-line either. He'd have to go to solid out O-line."

Philip Rivers' Colts (8-6) will face the San Francisco 49ers (10-4) in Week 16 of the 2025 NFL season on Monday. The game will kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Colts, who have lost four games in a row, still have a chance to make the playoffs. However, they must win their remaining regular-season games and hope for the right mix of results from others.

Meanwhile, the 49ers are on a four-game win streak and will aim to continue their good run as they chase a postseason berth.
