As the 2026 NFL trade deadline nears, the Tennessee Titans are clearly a team to watch. After trading Jeffery Simmons, it would seem like just about anyone is available for trade.

But, of the options who could most realistically be on the move, Tony Pollard and Calvin Ridley are the two most likely to be traded. Recently, prior to Week 9, the asking price for both was revealed.

According to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer, the Titans' asking price for Pollard is a very reasonable one. All the Titans are asking for is "at least" a fourth-round pick, which is not unreasonable for a star RB like Pollard.

Titans' asking price for the Tony Pollard trade is very reasonable

"Pollard has drawn interest from teams looking for running back help that don't want to pay the freight for Taylor, and the feeling from those teams is that it would cost at least a fourth-round pick to pry the veteran back from Tennessee," Breer writes.

As the Indianapolis Colts are seeking a first-round pick, or the equivalent value of that kind of valuable selection, Pollard might only cost a team a fourth-rounder.

Sure, Taylor might be better than Pollard and is signed beyond the 2026 season, unlike Pollard. But the production from Pollard this season should be more than good enough for an interested team to bite on this asking price.

Pollard has 133 rushing attempts this season for 595 yards and six touchdowns,  with his 129-yard three-TD performance in Week 7 and his 117-yard two-TD game in Week 8 being major contributors to his season numbers.

There are plenty of teams around the NFL that could show serious interest in Pollard this season. The New York Giants, Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks, Minnesota Vikings, and Cincinnati Bengals are a few teams to keep an eye on.

Tennessee is sure to get competitive offers for Pollard. With the NFL trade deadline coming up on November 10, the Titans might only have Pollard on their roster for a few more days.

If Pollard is dealt, the Titans will turn to a combination of Tyjae Spears and Nicholas Singleton, with Julius Chestnut and Michael Carter factoring into the mix as well.

With a very reasonable asking price for an explosive running back, Pollard is someone who could very well be on a new team before the Titans play a game again this season.
