Timothée Chalamet let Kylie Jenner go solo to Met Gala to watch Knicks’ win: ‘Shaking’

Who has time for the Met Gala when the Knicks are in the playoffs?

That seemed to be the feelings of Hollywood A-lister Timothée Chalamet, who skipped the biggest night in fashion in order to watch the Knicks in a 108-105 comeback win over the Celtics in Game 1 of the second-round playoff series.

Chalamet, a noted Knicks fan, posted several times to his Instagram story showing himself watching and reacting throughout the night as he suffered through the roller coaster win like every other Knicks fan did on Monday night.

In a post on the social media platform, Chalamet shared an image of himself watching the game on an iPad.

Another post, which has been deleted from his Instagram Story but captured by TMZ, showed the nerves Chalamet and every other Knicks fan were going through, as he posted, “s–ting myself this game is insane.”

After the Knicks pulled off the win, he posted “shaking What a win,” which was also deleted.

Chalamet not only skipped the Met Gala, but also missed a chance to walk the red carpet with girlfriend Kylie Jenner, which the couple has never done in the two years they’ve been together.

The “Kardashians” star had hinted that she had been in some way supporting Chalamet’s Knicks fandom when she posted a selfie in a black bikini and matching black Knicks hat to her Instagram on Monday.

Chalamet and Jenner had been in attendance last week during a Lakers playoff game against the Timberwolves.

The “A Complete Unknown” star has shown off his sports chops several times in recent memory, impressing the panel on “College Game Day” back in December with his college football knowledge.

In the same month, during an appearance on comedian Theo Von’s podcast “This Past Weekend,” Chalamet revealed that he was friends with Nashville SC midfielder Alex Muyl and that the two had played soccer together growing up.
