I’ve seen enough. This team’s quit on Mike McDaniel. Time for Mr. Ross to clean house and reset the culture.
McDaniel's has been under pressure with speculations around his job growing with each loss. While Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is reportedly backing the third-year coach, Incognito explained why he thinks the Dolphins should part ways with the coach.
"When I see players yelling at coaches and coaches yelling back, it’s over. The trust is gone!"When I see players yelling at coaches and coaches yelling back, it’s over. The trust is gone!
Incognito's frustration resonated with the fans on Thursday as they booed the Miami coach at Hard Rock Stadium. McDaniel acknowledged the frustration over the team's performance.
"It sucks. That sucks. All of that does," McDaniel said. "But I think it's a pretty consistent formula of fans enjoy winning. Our expectations is we have to do the work and do the right things for fans to enjoy the experience. Unfortunately, we didn't do that tonight so we've got to get back to work to give them something to cheer about."Dolphins owner Stephen Ross announced general manager's firing after Ravens loss
Following the frustrating loss, Miami announced the firing of general manager Chris Grier on Friday. The announcement was made by Dolphins owner Stephen Ross.
"As I assessed the state of the team and in my discussions with Chris, it became clear to both of us that change could not wait. We must improve - in 2025, 2026 and beyond - and it needs to start right now," Ross wrote on X.Grier, who joined the team as a scout in 2000, served as the team's GM since 2016. With Grier's departure, Champ Kelly will serve in the interim role while the team searches for his replacement.
