The 2026 Formula 1 Drivers' Championship continues this weekend with competition heading over to Europe for ten straight races. The Monaco Grand Prix gets underway Sunday.
Heading into the seventh Grand Prix of the season, Mercedes is leading the pack far and away. 19-year-old Kimi Antonelli won his fourth race of the year in Canada on May 24, opening up a 43-point gap in the standings. Antonelli's teammate George Russell holds second.
McLaren has been struggling to keep up, with reigning world champion Lando Norris barely holding onto fifth place, and Oscar Piastri in sixth. Lewis Hamilton helped Ferrari stay in second after securing a second place finish at the Canadian Grand Prix.
