Luka Garza is a walking bucket.
In fact, he's a more efficient playoff scorer than Michael Jordan.
You'd probably like that qualified a little better. Sure, MJ played about a bazillion more playoff minutes than the Timberwolves backup center. And yeah, Jordan played in more meaningful moments than Garza, too.
But what good are statistics if they can't be a little fun every once in a while?
Jordan averaged 0.8 points per minute in his playoff career.
After Saturday night, when Garza scored seven points in five minutes off the bench, he's now averaging 1.03 points per minute in his playoff career.

Garza has scored 38 points in 37 playoff minutes.
Just because they're garbage time buckets doesn't totally eliminate the fact that that's a pretty darn effective ratio.
Garza was a monster on the block in college at Iowa.
He doesn't really fit the modern NBA, since he's not a great floor spacer and loves to play with his back to the basket.
But give him a few relatively meaningless minutes at the end of a game and he'll get you a couple of buckets at high percentages.
Maybe there's the tiniest, smallest case to be made that the Timberwolves should give Garza a chance when the game is still hanging in the balance. If he gets a good look on the block, he'll probably score.
