Before game seven of the NBA Finals between the Pacers and the Thunder, busses were the main story garnering headlines.
Yes you read that right. It wasn't stars like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander or Tyrese Haliburton, it was the trio of busses painted with "2025 NBA Champions" alongside the OKC logo.
But after the 48 minutes came and went, those busses will carry a team of champions through the streets of Oklahoma City.
Rick Carlisle was asked about the championship vehicles pregame was less than thrilled about the preemptive move by the Thunder organization.
Rick Carlisle mentions a video he saw where the Thunder already had buses painted with them as champions 👀

Of course, the story isn't that championship gear was being prepared for Oklahoma City. The Pacers have championship hats and shirts that will never be sold because all NBA Finals gear is preemptively produced.
The real issue was that the video was leaked on social media, drawing outrage from the general public.
Luckily for OKC, the team took care of business and those videos won't be marked as a jinx.
