The Cleveland Cavaliers are spending a few days living it up before they have to get back to business.
After defeating the Miami Heat in the first round of the 2025 NBA Playoffs, the team is set to take on the Indiana Pacers in the second round, and sports analyst and former NBA champ, Danny Green, has his bets on the Cavs being the team to come out of the east this year. "Donovan Mitchell is locked in, laser-focused," Green said on a recent appearance of NBA on ESPN. "They've shown a ton of growth with winning this series...They don't seem satisfied at all. They're ready to win and play."
Green continued, "And to me, with how they're playing and how healthy they've been, I see them as the favorites in the East right now. Boston is struggling against the Orlando Magic. And right now, Cleveland is rolling and they're laser-focused. I love what they're doing and how mature they've been."

Meanwhile, the team got a warm welcome this week while supporting the Cleveland Guardians on Tuesday night. Along with Mitchell, other members of the squad such as Ty Jerome, Max Strus and Sam Merrill were present to show their support as well, with the team getting lots of cheers upon their arrival.
The Cavs begins their series against the Pacers on May 1.
