Times Square boxing purses: How much money will Ryan Garcia, Teofimo Lopez, Devin Haney make for 2025 fights?

On Friday night, boxing heads outside, as there will be three big-name fights live from the middle of Times Square.

Among the most-anticipated parts of the night will be the return of Ryan Garcia. The controversial 25-year-old will fight for the first time since his suspension ended last month.  Joining him are other big names Devin Haney and Teofino Lopez, as the three boxers will be headlining their own fights on the night.

A big and unique event like this is sure to bring in a large amount of money, meaning the six boxers participating in the three fights should receive a hefty purse each.

It is unclear the exact number that the boxers will be making for the Times Square event on Friday night, as the numbers have not been made public.

Ryan Garcia is the biggest headliner, and he will be fighting Rolly Romero in the main event. On the All the Smoke Fight podcast in March, Garcia hinted that he will make around $20 million, while Romero's purse is likely to be closer to $5 million when he fights Garcia in the main event at Times Square.

As for the other fights, the purse numbers likely won't be released until after the event, if at all. Garcia's last opponent, Devin Haney, will be returning to the ring against Jose Ramirez. Last year, Garcia beat Haney in a fight, but it was later ruled a no contest after Garcia tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs. 

Teofimo Lopez will be putting his 21-1 record and junior welterweight title on the line against Arnold Barboza Jr. It will be Lopez's first fight since June of 2024 when he beat Steve Claggett in a unanimous decision.

Garcia is the biggest name of the six boxers fighting on Friday night, so he is likely to earn the biggest purse. However, considering this fight is being run and funded by Turki Alalshikh, the chairman of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority, the six boxers will likely make more money on these fights than they have on any fight previously.
