Jon Moxley is one of the top stars in AEW. Therefore, a veteran believes he won't return to WWE.
David Otunga is the latest to comment on Jon Moxley returning to WWE. Moxley joined AEW in 2019. Since then, he has established himself as one of the top stars in the entire company. During his time in the Jacksonville-based promotion, he won the World Title multiple times and has been a regular feature on TV. The Purveyor of Violence seems to be enjoying his time in All Elite Wrestling, which is evident from his body of work. However, many fans are still wondering if they will get to witness a Shield reunion in WWE again.
During a recent appearance on TMZ's Inside The Ring, David Otunga was asked if Moxley would ever return to WWE. The former WWE star said he doesn't see Mox returning to the sports entertainment juggernaut because the company won't allow him to bring this hardcore style of wrestling with him.
“I don’t know, because I feel like this is what he always wanted to do, because I wasn’t familiar with his work before he came to WWE, but that’s what, that’s the rumor about him. Oh, this guy does death matches. This is where he came from… And so now, seeing him do this like this is clearly what he wants. This fits him. I don’t think WWE would ever let him do anything close to that. So I don’t see him going back to WWE. I don’t see why”.
