‘The View’ Guest Host Sara Eisen Warns Hosts Not To “Jump To Conclusions” While Discussing Trump’s Sexual Assault Allegations: “We Know Democrats Like To Bash President Trump”

1 hour ago 3

CNBC anchor Sara Eisen joined the ladies of The View as the latest conservative guest host to fill in for Alyssa Farah Griffin during her maternity leave. But her first day sitting at the Hot Topics table took a tense turn when the hosts discussed a recent NPR investigation that found the Department of Justice “withheld some Epstein files related to allegations that President Trump sexually abused a minor.”

Eisen defended the Department of Justice, reminding the hosts, “The amount of disclosure we’ve had so far has been astonishing. You have to admit it. It’s been three million documents.”

“The DOJ does say they are on it and they will look for any pieces that are not included,” she continued. But Eisen concluded her statement with a jab at Democrats, sparking a clash with her co-hosts. “I just think before we jump to conclusions, there’s still unsubstantiated allegations that were made in 2019 before the 2020 election and so lets see before we… We know Democrats like to bash President Trump.”

Whoopi Goldberg was the first to respond, telling Eisen, “It’s not about bashing Trump.”

At the same time, Sunny Hostin chimed in to add, “This is about children. This is about sex crimes.” Eisen agreed, noting these were “100% disgusting crimes” and she didn’t “want to undermine that at all.”

Goldberg continued, “[Trump] is at the tip of this iceberg and he is the only person who we really have not heard from.”

Eisen doubled down on her point, however. “Well let’s see, let’s see what they produce. Let’s see it.”

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
