After being the butt of jokes for their failure to get to the top of the basketball mountain for 53 years, the Knicks are now just one win away from ending that drought.
And it was perhaps the most unlikely victory in NBA Finals history that got them to the precipice.
During these playoffs, the Knicks have routinely done what seems to be impossible. On Wednesday, they actually did do something no other team has ever done.
Down by 29 points in the second half, the Knicks mounted the largest comeback in NBA Finals history to beat the reeling Spurs 107-106 at Madison Square Garden in Game 4 on Wednesday night. The improbable victory gave the Knicks a commanding 3-1 lead as the series heads back to San Antonio.
