Déjà vu.
That’s what Aaron Glenn said he felt when his Jets lost a tight game to the Lions on Sunday in Detroit, the place he coached defense for four years and played a big part in resurrecting a downtrodden franchise.
Déjà vu is what Glenn and Dan Campbell, his friend and mentor and the Lions head coach, spoke about while they exchanged a long embrace on the field after the game.
Glenn has been there and done that before with Campbell as they built the Lions from division doormats to division title winners.
