Kevin Stefanski's name is floating around as a potential solution for the Giants. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler dropped a report saying the Browns coach would be a strong option for New York's vacancy.

Fowler called the Giants an "ideal fit" for Stefanski should he become available.

"Literally no one has thrived under Stefanski lol," another wrote. "File this under science fiction so it can qualify for a Hugo Award," a third commented.

Here are additional reactions from fans.

"Nobody thrives under Stefanski 🤣🤣🤣,'" one wrote. "Kevin Stefanski would be a great fit for a high school JV team that only runs the ball with their QB every play. Get this guy OUT of the NFL," another added. "One bad coach going to another bad team! Don't make sense!" a fan tweeted.

The idea that a coach who has won seven games in two years could save the Giants got roasted across the internet.

Cleveland could theoretically trade Kevin Stefanski as the franchise explores every possible transaction.

New York dumped Brian Daboll midseason after the team nosedived. They dropped nine straight games before Daboll got canned. Mike Kafka stepped in as interim coach and went 1-5 the rest of the way. The Giants also lost Jaxson Dart to a concussion during the skid, adding injury to an already brutal year.

Kevin Stefanski wouldn't bite when reporters asked about his job status Monday. He told the media he's "privileged to have this job" when pressed about whether he wants to stay in Cleveland beyond this season. Then he redirected everything back to preparing for Cincinnati.

The Browns are closing out another terrible year. Stefanski has won Coach of the Year twice and taken Cleveland to the playoffs twice in six seasons. But his overall record sits at 44-56 in the regular season.

The Deshaun Watson disaster hangs over everything. Cleveland surrendered three first-rounders and gave Watson $230 million fully guaranteed. He's played 19 games since arriving and tore his Achilles last October.
