The Game Awards mystery statue game has finally been revealed. Ever since Geoff Keighley posted the statue image, the community had been eagerly waiting and making their predictions. Some of them predicted right as Divinity, a new spin-off under the Divinity universe, which is under development at Larian Studios. The event showcased a short trailer, giving a few hints about what the game might offer.

The much hyped The Game Awards Mystery Statue Game has finally been revealed, and it's none other than a new Divinity. Yes, you read it right. For now, the game is referred to as Divinity, which is under development at Larian Studios.

Well, those unaware, the dev has already developed five Divinity series, including Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity, Divinity 2, Divinity: Original Sin, and Divinity: Original Sin 2, which was released back in 2017. After Geoff Keighley, the organiser of the Game Awards, shared a picture of the statue and hinted at the Mojave Desert, many fans already started predicting what title it could be.

The few-minute trailers have showcased various glimpses, starting with a mysterious man who was tied up with a star symbol carved into his chest. The trailer features some rituals ongoing, and then the man starts ripping off and burning, and strange creatures crawl out from his burning body.

As confirmed by Geoff Keighley, this might be the biggest game for the dev, even bigger than Baldur’s Gate 3. The developers already announced that they are shifting away from their popular Dungeons & Dragons-based games to focus on a completely original project. It will be exciting to see how the Divinity returns in its place and surprises fans.
