BTS’ Taehyung becomes Paradise City global ambassador, making major brand expansion post-military discharge
Following his military discharge, BTS’ V has emerged as one of the most in-demand brand ambassadors in the global market. In addition to his pre-enlistment partnerships with CELINE, Compose Coffee, Cartier, Snowpeak, and SimInvest, he has taken on new endorsements with Coca-Cola Korea, TIRTIR, and Yunth.
His brand portfolio expanded further on December 1, 2025, when Paradise City officially appointed him as its global ambassador. The resort unveiled the collaboration through two cinematic-style promotional films featuring the singer.
Alongside the films, Paradise City launched a large-scale offline campaign across Seoul, installing prominent billboards and rolling out bus advertisements showcasing V. The campaign videos are currently being screened on the resort’s official platforms, its social media channels, and across multiple locations throughout the city.
In an interview with EyesMAG, V was asked whether he sees any resemblance between himself and Paradise City. In response, he said that the resort leaves a strong impression at first glance, adding,
"Just looking at it is already amazing, right? Undeniable. It’s flashy yet fun. The more you get to know it, the more charming it becomes. I think that might be what it has in common with me. What I’ll be showing you at Paradise City."Paradise City is a large integrated resort complex located on Yeongjongdo in Incheon. Opened in 2016, the destination includes luxury hotels, a casino accessible to both Korean nationals and international visitors, spa and wellness facilities, an indoor waterpark, shopping areas, dining venues, and convention spaces. It is also widely referred to as the Las Vegas of Asia.
Meanwhile, BTS is preparing to reunite as a complete group, with a comeback planned for spring 2026. The release will be their first full studio album in nearly six years, coming after the anthology album Proof. Following the album’s launch, the group is also expected to embark on a global tour.
