Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson did not practice on Wednesday due to illness. Jackson, who has dealt with knee, ankle, and toe injuries since coming back from an early-season hamstring injury, will have a sixth straight week without a full week of practice.
Amid Jackson's injury concerns and now with his illness issue, FS1 analyst Nick Wright has slammed the Ravens QB for not prioritizing his health.
"Lamar can't get sick and miss practice every single year," Wright said on "First Things First" on Thursday. "He's the most important person in that franchise. He's an adult, he's a professional athlete. He's the only starting QB in the league who, every single year, he can't manage to figure out how to not get the seasonal flu."•

Wright also said that Jackson was "immature" for not being able to be at his optimum health level for the Ravens.

“It’s weird," Wright said. "There’s a lot of stuff about this stage Lamar Jackson that flags as odd given his stature in the league, his stature with his team, and how good of a player he is … I think there are a lot of signs of immaturity with Lamar Jackson.”The Ravens took Jackson in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft. He has won two MVP awards and earned four Pro Bowl honors since then.
