A female WWE star is not happy with LA Knight, so she took some hilarious shots at The Megastar. Some fans have declared kayfabe to be dead for years, but there are a handful who like to keep it alive from time to time.

Before he was Knight on the main roster, he was named Max Dupri and managed a talent agency with his sister Maxxine Dupri. They were representing Maximum Male Models, which was composed by Mace and Mansoor.

The Max Dupri character didn't last long for Knight, as he began using The Megastar gimmick moving forward. Maxxine remained in charge of Mace and Mansoor until she switched to the Alpha Academy.

Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Maxxine Dupri was asked about her real relation with LA Knight. Maxxine kept it kayfabe for a while, hilariously calling out the former United States Champion for being estranged from her and their family.

"That is my brother. And you know what's insane. I have a huge match on Monday versus Becky Lynch. And do you think my brother has called me to offer any advice or train me? No, he has not, and our mother is worried about him. He's out here living by a new name, it's crazy. It's a whole thing. Like, if he would like to show up to a family reunion, we would be so happy to welcome him with open arms," Maxxine said. [H/T chrisvanvliet.com]

After a brief feud with Ricochet, LA Knight went on to face Bray Wyatt in his first feud back since returning to WWE. It culminated in a Mountain Dew Pitch Black match at the 2023 Royal Rumble.

LA Knight felt ecstatic when WWE told him he's ditching the Max Dupri character

Speaking to Metro back in November 2023, LA Knight was asked about his reaction when WWE's higher-ups told him that he's reverting back to his old gimmick and leaving his Max Dupri character behind.

"My reaction was 'F Yeah,' immediately. Let’s make that happen. Because I don’t know who or what the hell Max Dupri is! Now, look, given the time, could I have done that? Could I have made it work? I’m sure I could have. Now, would it have ever been anything like we’re doing right now? No. Because at the end of the day, that wasn’t me. It wasn’t for me," Knight said.

As Knight, he has won the 2023 SummerSlam Slim Jim Battle Royal and the United States Championship. He also started pursuing world titles this year, though he can't seem to break through like Jey Uso.
