Texas QB Arch Manning one of 6 options for No. 1 pick in 2026 NFL Draft

It's never too early to look ahead to the next year's NFL Draft.

The 2026 class is expected to have a strong quarterback offering, led by Texas QB Arch Manning.

Manning could actually spend two more years at Texas, but for the moment, most are operating as if he'll leave school.

And in the early going, Manning is the favorite to be the No. 1 overall pick.

The Bovada sportsbook set odds on this and released the six names they have as favorites.

Manning has the shortest odds, at +200.

Next up is Penn State quarterback Drew Allar, who is primed for a monster season with essentially the entire Nittany Lions offense back around him. Allar has +225 odds.

LSU's Garrett Nussmeier comes in next with +450 odds.

There's a steep drop-off from those three.

The next-best odds are the +1800 for Clemson QB Cade Klubnik, a great athlete who still has room to grow as a passer.

The fifth QB in the running is Georgia's Carson Beck, at +3000.

Only one non-QB makes the list. That's Ohio State safety Caleb Downs, at +2500. He began his college career at Alabama before becoming a Buckeye and helping them win a national title.

At this time last year, Cam Ward likely wouldn't have been on a list like this, so there are no guarantees here. But it's fun to see what might be happening in a year's time.
