The Washington NFL franchise won't ever forget the late, great Sean Taylor.

On Sunday, the now-named Commanders provided another reason to remember.

Taylor's little brother, Gabe Taylor, has reportedly been invited to attend the Commanders' rookie minicamp.

Chills.

This is former Rice safety Gabe Taylor, the younger brother of Washington Redskins/Commanders LEGENDARY safety Sean Taylor, who passed away tragically.

Gabe Taylor spent five seasons as a safety at Rice.

He is coming off his most productive season, with seven tackles for loss and three interceptions.

Taylor actually had 3-2-2-3 interceptions across his last four seasons with the Owls.

He also forced six fumbles over the past four years.

Taylor definitely seems like a playmaker in the mold of his older brother.

The climb from a rookie minicamp invite to a roster spot is long. Taylor will have to beat out a ton of other players just to get an opportunity.

But the Commanders have given him a chance. And if he runs with it, it'll be an absolutely incredible story.
