The Houston Texans began the 2026 season 0-4, and there was plenty of doom and gloom surrounding the franchise heading into Week 5.
But after a big win in Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans, followed by a Week 6 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, the vibes have shifted in a positive direction. Things have gotten even better, as the Texans got some huge news in their wide receiver room.
Not only is Marvin Harrison Jr. now involved after a mid-season blockbuster trade, but the Texans also, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, are getting Tank Dell back in Week 7, as the beloved WR is going to suit up for the first time in nearly two years.
Texans' Tank Dell to make NFL return in Week 7
"Texans HC DeMeco Ryans announced that WR Tank Dell is going to play Sunday vs. the Giants in what will be his first NFL game since December 2024," Schefter reports.
This is some incredible news for the Texans. Dell, after suffering a gruesome leg injury in 2024, will be back in action for Houston.
C.J. Stroud now has quite the loaded wide receiver room for the team's Week 7 matchup against the New York Giants.
Nico Collins, Harrison, Dell, Jaylin Noel, Xavier Hutchinson, and Kayshon Boutte make up a very strong group of receivers in Houston.
With their defense struggling a bit more against the pass this year than they did in 2025, more offensive firepower is welcome. Dell can provide an extra spark for this offense, even as a depth option in the WR room.

Collins will remain the No. 1 option, and Harrison is sure to be involved. Noel is coming off a career day as well.
Dell might not be a top option in this passing attack, but just seeing him back on the field is a huge win for the Texans and Dell.
Facing a weak Giants' defense, this is a good matchup for Dell and the Texans to have another big day through the air.
While he might not play all of the snaps, the Texans are sure to try to get Dell the ball at some point, as he looks to make his first reception in the NFL since December of 2024, nearly two years ago.
