For the Green Bay Packers, Week 6 against the Dallas Cowboys was initially pegged as the week Micah Parsons could come back from a serious knee injury last season.
But Parsons wasn't active and sat out once again. While Green Bay won, the absence of Parsons is very notable. Unfortunately, following the Week 6 win, the Packers revealed some more bad news on Parsons.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Packers are likely going to be without Parsons in Week 7 as well, as the superstar edge rusher isn't going to practice this week.
Packers announce bad news on Micah Parsons for Week 7
"Micah Parsons will not practice this week, per HC Matt LaFleur," Schefter reported ahead of Week 7.
This is a tough update for the Packers, as they really could use Parsons back on defense. While they held the Cowboys' offense down in Week 6, Parsons could really make a big difference for this defense.
With Parsons not set to practice at all this week, leading up to the Packers' Week 7 matchup against the NFC North rival Lions, Parsons doesn't look likely to play at all.

As things currently stand, Parsons seems likely to miss Week 7, extending his absence closer to half of the 2026 regular season.
The key week to keep in mind is Week 11, when the Packers go on bye. Green Bay getting Parsons back before then would be a great thing, whereas there's a non-zero chance he's out beyond that week.
Rumors floating around have indicated a potential November return for Parsons, and if it's later that month, Green Bay might not get their superstar edge rusher back until Week 12.
But in the meantime, at least for Week 7, it's looking very likely that Parsons will be ruled out once again. He's not practicing, which is a clear indication his odds of playing aren't very good.
