The Washington Commanders are starting the week off on the right foot when it comes to their injured wide receivers, Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel.
Both veteran wideouts were ruled out last week, with Samuel missing his first game of the season with a bruised heel and McLaurin missing his fourth with a quad issue.
McLaurin did log one limited practice last week, but he followed that up with no participant over the final two days before being ruled out. Samuel logged just one limited practice, which came on Friday.
Looking ahead to Week 8, things are looking up for both players, as head coach Dan Quinn said McLaurin and Samuel will practice on Thursday.
"Dan Quinn said WRs Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel will practice today," ESPN's John Keim reported.
The Commanders will drop their first injury report of the week later in the day, so we'll know how much each player did then. But, at the very least, both should be limited.
