Jake Paul entered the ring ready to take on the legendary Mike Tyson in what could be one of the top-viewed boxing fights of all time.

The fight in AT&T Stadium went as many expected, with the 58-year-old Tyson, competing professionally for the first time since 2005, looking stiff against the 27-year-old Paul. Tyson wore a leg brace and, while initially explosive, couldn't match Paul's speed.

Paul won via unanimous decision. He landed 78 of 278 shots (28%), while Tyson landed 18 of 97 (18%). It was the third straight loss for Tyson, who hadn't competed in a pro fight in over 7,000 days.

Mad at myself for staying awake for that.

I know better.

Y’all gotta leave me alone now #PaulTyson pic.twitter.com/6ofALjqttM

This is truly heart breaking to watch 58 year old Mike Tyson in the ring right now.

— Robert Griffin III (@RGIII) November 16, 2024

Mind might be willing but Tyson’s body just isn’t able. It’s sad watching this😔😔😟😟

WE are all to blame for this man!! We are all talking and watching! We have to stop this fool! Don’t tune into him until he fights someone who is fit healthy and not a grandfather! Any proper boxing people helping Paul need to look at themselves ffs!! This is just sad 😔

— Tony Bellew (@TonyBellew) November 16, 2024

That was exactly how I thought that fight would play out. You were delusional if you thought anything else.

— Chris Mannix (@SIChrisMannix) November 16, 2024

Love @MikeTyson. Always have, always will. But 58 is 58. Plus the legs just wasn’t there. Old is old. Thank God he didn’t get knocked out. Now it’s time for @jakepaul to get in the ring with a Top-10 fighter — or Hell, a Champion. No more BBall players, strikers from MMA, or old…

— Stephen A Smith (@stephenasmith) November 16, 2024

Jake Paul is an embarrassment to this sport. If my grandfather was still around, he’d call him out. Absolutely no shame... Love you Mike🙏🏼

— Nico Ali Walsh (@nicoaliwalsh) November 16, 2024

going from the taylor-serrano fight to the paul-tyson fight is like if you watched the super bowl and then immediately after the super bowl you watched two people play paper football on a table in denny’s at 3am

— Shea Serrano (@SheaSerrano) November 16, 2024

Anybody who had anything to do with that Tyson/Paul debacle owes the public an apology. What
garbage.

— Mike Francesa (@MikeFrancesa) November 16, 2024

Credit to Jake Paul + Mike Tyson for pulling off one of the great cons of century. I shoulda put 10 million on Jake. Not cause he's good but cause he fought a senior citizen. I would say everybody involved should be ashamed but I'd take the money it too if I could. #TysonPaul

— Dave Portnoy (@stoolpresidente) November 16, 2024

Is there not an adult present to stop this? He fell walking to ring.

— Chael Sonnen (@ChaelSonnen) November 16, 2024

I love Mike Tyson, but they giving him too much credit. He looked like trash, to train that long and only throw 97 punches the whole fight is crazy. I’m just glad he didn’t get hurt out there.

— Terence Crawford (@terencecrawford) November 16, 2024

Magic isn’t real.

— Joe Rogan (@joerogan) November 16, 2024

No point of that fight
