‘Teen Mom’ Star Jenelle Evans Says Lil Wayne Slid Into Her DMs and Flew Her Out to L.A. for a Date

Jenelle Evans is opening up about an unlikely Hollywood connection — and yes, it involves Lil Wayne.

The Teen Mom alum, 33, revealed during a recent Instagram livestream that the rapper, 42, slid into her DMs and eventually flew her out to Los Angeles for a date. “I met him [Wayne] in his personal studio, for real. You guys are the first ones I’m telling,” Evans said, per Page Six.

She even held up her phone on camera to show one of his messages, where Wayne reportedly wrote: “Be mine.” Evans said she replied, “Say no more King. Where and when?” before swapping numbers with him.

According to Evans, the “Annihilate” rapper took things a step further: “He flew me out, and I met him, and things were cool. Did I hook up with him? No. Did he want to? Yes, but I wanted to go out to dinner and get to know each other first.” She added that Wayne eventually paid for her flight home, calling the experience “crazy.”

The MTV personality doubled down in a TikTok posted September 8, clapping back at skeptics. “This seriously did happen,” she said. “I’m not going to say too much about the situation because, I mean, he didn’t have me sign an NDA and, at first, I didn’t believe it was him until he FaceTimed me.”

“We texted a lot, had great conversation before I even went out there,” she continued. “He’s really respectful, really nice.”

Evans claimed that Wayne had no idea about her Teen Mom past, and only reached out after seeing her pictures on social media. “No hard feelings between me and him,” she said. “It was a crazy story. I figured since it’s been a few months, I would share it with you guys.”

Wayne’s last high-profile relationship was with model Denise Bidot, though the pair split in May following her allegations of abuse. He was previously engaged to La’Tecia Thomas and is father to four children with Antonia “Toya” Johnson, Sarah Vivan, Lauren London, and Nivea.

Evans, meanwhile, is fresh off her split from David Eason, her husband of six years. The two share 8-year-old daughter Ensley, while Evans is also mom to Jace, 16, and Kaiser, 11, from previous relationships.
