Taylor Swift sets trends, but this time the superstar might be following one for her upcoming Travis Kelce wedding.
What has been trending in bridal is multiple dresses worn by brides throughout their big day, as well as pre- and post-ceremonies. For example, Dua Lipa, who just got married to Callum Turner, wore several dresses throughout her three-day ceremony in Sicily, Italy as well as her intimate ceremony in London and wrap-up brunch.
According to Page Six, Swift will also be jumping onto that trend for her big day and is expected to wear multiple dresses throughout the event. The outlet reports that the singer will have several custom dresses to choose from. Monse designers Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia are expected to be a part of the special day. She even recently wore one of their gowns during her surprise appearance at Travis Kelce’s Tight End University event in Nashville when she sang "Love Story" alongside country star Lainey Wilson.
Kim and Garcia are the former co-creative directors of Oscar de la Renta, whom Swift has been wearing since 2014.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding
Swift and Kelce will reportedly get married on July 3 in Madison Square Garden. There have been several clues that the superstar couple is heading to the iconic New York City venue for the big day, after a permit was filed for the venue last week.
A permit was recently filed for Madison Square Garden, and it points to Swift and Kelce's alleged wedding plans at the New York City venue. The New York Times reports that a permit was filed for the streets around Madison Square Garden to be closed from July 2 to midday July 4 for an event on July 3, according to several sources.
Several members of the Kansas City Chiefs have booked hotel rooms for dates around July 3 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square, a person aware of the accommodations told the outlet.
The third clue was made by a New York City official who said, "Madison Square Garden is planning to host the wedding festivities on July 3," the outlet reports.
Additionally, the permit requested 500 to 999 guests as well as tents outside of the venue.
