The confetti has barely been swept up from Super Bowl LX, but NFL fans are already looking ahead to 2027. And if early polling is any indication, Taylor Swift is the name topping the wish list for Super Bowl LXI’s halftime stage in Inglewood, California.
A new survey of more than 3,000 U.S.-based NFL fans, conducted by Vegas Insider, asked a simple question: Who should headline the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show? Taylor Swift finished first, earning 7.6% of the overall vote. Elton John followed at 5.3%, with Adele close behind at 4.3%.

The rest of the top 10 featured a mix of legacy acts and contemporary stars, including Red Hot Chili Peppers (4.0%), Ed Sheeran (3.6%), Post Malone (3.6%), 21 Savage (3.5%), Morgan Wallen (3.5%), Chris Brown (3.4%) and Queen (3.4%).
Swift’s support wasn’t limited to a single corner of the league. She was the most popular choice among fans of 13 different franchises, including the Ravens, Bears, Bengals, Cowboys, Packers, Chiefs, Dolphins, Giants, Jets, Steelers, Seahawks, Buccaneers and Titans. Seven team fanbases placed Elton John at No. 1, while six selected Adele as their top pick.
State-by-state results told a similar story. Taylor Swift ranked as the preferred 2027 halftime performer in 22 states, including California, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Virginia and Washington. Elton John led in seven states, while Red Hot Chili Peppers topped five.
The demographic breakdown added another layer. Among male respondents, the top three choices were Taylor Swift (7.586%), Elton John (5.3%) and 21 Savage (5.02%). Female respondents also placed Taylor Swift first (7.583%), followed by Adele (5.46%) and Elton John (5.24%).
Age also influenced preferences. Fans aged 18 to 24 selected 21 Savage as their top choice, with 10% support. The 25–34 group also leaned toward 21 Savage at 9%. In the 35–44 bracket, Taylor Swift and 21 Savage were tied at 5%. Among fans 45–54, Swift led with 8%, and among those 55 and older, she drew 11%.

The survey, conducted in late January 2026 with 3,008 respondents, adhered to MRS and ICC/ESOMAR research guidelines and was designed to represent the broader U.S. adult NFL fan population.
