Tight End University is an event that was founded in 2021 by Travis Kelce, George Kittle, and Greg Olsen. It’s a program that’s being held June 23-June 26 on the Vanderbilt University campus in Nashville, and it's an opportunity for football players to learn from some of the best NFL stars in the league.
On Tuesday, June 25, Taylor Swift joined Kelce for a celebratory concert held for NFL stars and their families. While it first appeared that she was just there to support her boyfriend, she later ended up surprising everyone when she got on stage alongside Kane Brown for a surprise performance.
Swift performed one of her greatest hits, ‘Shake It Off,” to a wildly cheering crowd.
“See, the one thing tight ends have in common with Nashville musicians is we’re all friends, right? We would like to dedicate this to our favorite players, who are going to play, and these are the tight ends,” she said before the performance.
Swift later explained how much of a last-minute decision it was for her to come on stage and perform.
“We decided we were gonna perform that three minutes ago,” she joked, noting that while she and Brown were enjoying some drinks, they questioned how loud the venue could possibly get. That’s when they decided to test it out for themselves.
