The Swifties want to have a word with Shannon Sharpe his recent podcast guest, who insulted Taylor Swift and compared her to Travis Kelce's ex, Kayla Nicole.
In the latest episode of Sharpe's podcast, Club Shay Shay, the three-time Super Bowl champion had comedian Mark Normand on when he delved into the Kansas City tight end's dating history.
"We've seen his exes. Compared to old surfboard body here. I mean, not to besmirch the lady, but that's quite a jump in type,' Normand said, referring to Swift.
Sharpe interjected in trying to deviate from Normand's crass comment when bringing up the popstar, saying: "I only know that was his last girl. I don't know anybody that he dated before her - Kayla."
"But I wonder if he misses that fat a**. I think [Swift] should get a BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift)," Normand appallingly added.
Sharpe laughed at Normand before responding: "No, that doesn't fit with what she's got going on."
Kelce and Kayla Nicole dated on and off from 2017 to 2022. While the fitness influencer did not respond to Normand's comments, she has in the past reacted to the constant online backlash she has received since Kelce and Swift started dating.
“I would be lying if I said that that level of hate and just online chaos doesn’t impact me,” she told WNBA player Angel Reese on the Unapologetically Angel podcast back in 2024. “It does. Even to this day.”
It had been over a year since Kelce and Swift began dating when Kayla Nicole spoke to Reese about the backlash. She explained that the level of fame "attracts crazy people" and that it doesn't really have anything to do with her.
“It has nothing to do with me,” she continued. “I think there’s something about that level of fame that attracts crazy people. And it’s unfortunate because I’ve never done anything to warrant that kind of backlash.”
Swift and Kelce have been dating for two years before the Chiefs tight end proposed back in August.
"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," the joint Instagram post read, with the NFL star down on one knee in his backyard that was transformed into a garden.
The two are reportedly getting married over the summer --particularly on June 13, 2026, to coincide with the singer's love for the number 13 -- in what fans suspect will be at Swift's Rhode Island mansion.
