Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce to have 2 music icons perform at wedding

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will be having their guest entertained during their wedding as two music icons will reportedly be performing.

According to Page Six, Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw will be performing at Kelce and Swift's wedding, which is rumored to take place at Madison Square Garden on July 3.

The "Cruel Summer" infamously sang with Nicks on during the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards back in 2010, where they performed "Today Was a Fairytale," Fleetwood Mac's "Rhiannon," and Swift's "You Belong with Me." Swift, who is known to have Easter eggs via music lyrics, clothing, social media posts, and more, recently wore a "Stevie Knicks" shirt during Game 4 of the NBA Finals when the Knicks faced the San Antonio Spurs.

As for McGraw, he has been instrumental in Swift's music career and has shared several stages over the years. In 2007, McGraw invited Swift on stage for a surprise appearance during his set at the CMA Music Festival in Nashville. She was also the opening act for he and Faith Hill's tour that year. They also perfomed together in 2018 during her Reputation Stadium Tour stop in Nashville and sang her debut single, which is titled "Tim McGraw." 

A permit was recently filed for Madison Square Garden, and it points to Swift and Kelce's alleged wedding plans at the New York City venue. The New York Times reports that a permit was filed for the streets around Madison Square Garden to be closed from July 2 to midday July 4 for an event on July 3, according to several sources.

Several members of the Kansas City Chiefs have booked hotel rooms for dates around July 3 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square, a person aware of the accommodations told the outlet.

The third clue was made by a New York City official who said, "Madison Square Garden is planning to host the wedding festivities on July 3," the outlet reports.

The permit has a request for 500 to 999 people to attend, and also tents surrounding the venue space. 

“I’ve heard Taylor invited so many people it’s going to be bigger than the Met Gala,” one industry insider told Page Six.
