Taylor Frankie Paul’s mom acknowledged the “Secret Lives of Mormon” star’s recent “hardships” in a cryptic post Tuesday.
Liann May tagged her daughter in an Instagram Story photo highlighting a Bible verse.
It read, “We often suffer, but we are never crushed. Even when we don’t know what to do, we never give up. In times of trouble, God is with us.”
May told her followers that a ladybug landed on her hand while she read scripture that morning.
“In times of hardship, subtle revelations sometimes appear small — small symbols that carry meaning and remind us we are not alone.”
The social media upload also included a screenshot of the things ladybugs symbolize, from “transformation and new beginnings” to “divine protection.”
May has yet to directly comment on her daughter’s ongoing scandal.

The drama began earlier this month when news broke that “SLOMW” had stopped filming Season 5 as Paul and her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, were investigated for alleged domestic violence.
The incident occurred in February with accusations made “on both sides.”
A previous altercation — the 2023 fight that led to Paul’s arrest — made its way back into headlines as footage was leaked of the MomTok star hurling barstools at Mortensen while her daughter, Indy, was in the room.
The headline-making video sparked the cancellation of Paul’s “Bachelorette” season, days before it aired — although we hear it is “simply paused” for the time being and may come out.
The Bachelor Nation member, who temporarily lost custody of son Ever, 2, due to a protective order filed by Mortensen, is now being investigated over a third incident from 2024.
While she has yet to comment on that investigation specifically, Paul previously claimed via her rep that Mortensen is an “aggressive, jealous ex-partner … who refuse[s] to let [her] move on.”
The statement continued, “After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm.”
The real estate agent, however, has “categorically” denied the “deeply upsetting” allegations.
Paul remains active on social media as her legal issues mount, which she has defended since it’s part of her job and she “still ha[s] to work.”
In a recent comment, she called the scandal “heartbreaking” for Indy, who had to “relive” the trauma of the chair-throwing incident, as well as for Ever, whose birthday was overshadowed by the leaked footage.
