Fans may never see Taylor Frankie Paul’s canceled season of the “Bachelorette,” but the “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star still stands to make her full salary for the shelved season.
Sources said that the reality star, 31, negotiated her contract with a salary contingent on services rendered — meaning, the show’s producer Warner Bros. Discovery will have to pay up since Paul fulfilled her contractual obligations when she finished filming the season, reports TMZ.
The exact dollar amount remains unclear at this time. However, the outlet reports that it’s likely to fall somewhere in the low-to-mid six figures range.
Reps for Paul, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Disney did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The news comes shortly after a source exclusively told Page Six that the shelved season is likely to cost Disney a staggering price tag, creating huge problems for its new Chairman Debra O’Connell.
“It could be $50 million [or more]. Someone’s gotta get fired from this. It’s ridiculous,” an insider told us.
The industry source added that the costs could go even higher when considering the “givebacks” the network has to arrange for advertisers whose campaigns that were originally meant to run on “Bachelorette.”

The ads will now need to appear in other shows, meaning they can’t be sold to new advertisers.
The debacle has quickly become a “nightmare” for O’Connell, who was named as Chairman of Disney Entertainment Television this week.
“She has to clean up the mess,” the insider said.
Paul was expected to lead Season 22 of the “Bachelorette,” which was scheduled to premiere last Sunday.
However, ABC chose to put the season on ice days before its air date after TMZ published a disturbing video showing Paul involved in a domestic incident with her ex Dakota Mortensen, with whom she shares 2-year-old son, Ever.
The 2023 video showed Paul throwing chairs at her ex, and putting him in a headlock. At one point, her now 8-year-old daughter, Indy, could be heard crying after she was allegedly hit in the head by one of the chairs thrown by Paul.
At the time, Paul responded to the cancellation news saying she’s “grateful” for the network’s support and was prioritizing “her family’s safety and security.”
“After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm,” a spokesperson for Paul shared.
“There are too many women who are suffering in silence as they survive aggressive, jealous ex-partners who refuse to let them move on with their lives.”
