Is Tarik Skubal being traded to the Braves?

No, there's no such trade actually in the works.

The rumors began from this post on X:

That's not a real person. It's listed in the bio as a "parody account."

That's also not at all a logical package in return for Skubal, for what it's worth.

If Skubal gets traded by the Tigers, it will be very close to the trade deadline. They won't pull the plug on this thing too early.

It also doesn't seem like the Braves would be the landing spot, but their pitcher injuries would create a need.

There'll be plenty more rumors, some of them fake, before anything actually goes down with Skubal.
