The former AEW World Champion, Swerve Strickland gave a new name to himself after this week's Dynamite: 34th Street. The Mogul also shared some of his stills from the show.

This past Wednesday on Dynamite: 34th Street, Swerve Strickland confronted MJF alongside his former arch-rival, Hangman Adam Page. Swerve will be in a four-way AEW World Championship match against Samoa Joe, MJF, and Hangman Page this Saturday at the Worlds End 2025 pay-per-view.

Ahead of Worlds End, Swerve Strickland gave himself a new name. Taking to his Instagram handle recently, Swerve shared some stills from Dynamite this week, where he is alongside Hangman. He also named himself the following in the caption:

"Krampus"

Krampus is described as a popular horned half-demon and half-goat devil from the Christmas folklore who appears during the Christmas season to scare children.

Swerve Strickland on helping his arch-rival win the AEW World title

At All In Texas in July 2025, Swerve Strickland cost Jon Moxley the AEW World Championship, helping his arch-rival, Hangman Page win in the process. During his interview with Chris Van Vliet on Insights, Swerve said that while he and Hangman hate each other, they also need each other:

“I don’t extend to the world title without him, but I also don’t lose that all in without him. So we kind of need each other. We hate each other, but we need each other. We also made each other better. People were talking about Hangman being done as a main eventer, as a World Champion in 2023. They were like, we got to look past Hangman, it’s Will Ospreay’s time now, because he just wasn’t there. Mentally, he just wasn’t there. I broke him, but I also did it intentionally, because I know Hangman is that guy," Swerve detailed.

It remains to be seen if Swerve could win the All Elite Wrestling World title this Saturday at Worlds End 2025.
