Suspects in brutal antisemitic attack on Israeli-American diners shared chilling clips with assault rifles

The three suspects accused of brutally assaulting two Israeli-Americans at a diner in San Jose in an alleged antisemitic attack posted chilling photos and videos of themselves with high-powered guns.

The suspects — Ramon Akoyans, 18; Roma Akoyans, 20; and Bruneil Chamaki, 32 — surrendered to San Jose police on Monday, roughly a week after they allegedly assaulted two men speaking Hebrew outside the high-end restaurant Augustine.

The broad-daylight attack, which investigators are probing as a potential hate crime, was caught on video and showed three men in black T-shirts repeatedly pummeling someone on the ground. Police said last week that victims alleged their attackers used antisemitic language.

On Instagram, images and clips showed the two Akoyans suspects dressed in all black holding weapons, including handguns and semi-automatic AR-15-style rifles.

One clip showed Ramon firing several rounds from the rifle, while another photo showed the pair standing with a group of armed men — one holding a sign read, “I’m an Assyrian solider currently serving Assyrians in this department.” It’s not clear which department the sign referred to.

Roma Akoyans graduated from West Valley College in Saratoga, Calif., while Ramon is currently attending San Jose State University, according their LinkedIn profiles, one of which has since been removed.

Chamaki also posted a clip of himself appearing to fire a similar assault-style rifle at a shooting range.

He graduated from the UC Berkley School of Law in 2022 and worked in the legal field before starting his own firm, Assyrian Advisors, according to this LinkedIn.

The Post contacted Assyrian Advisors for comment.

The three suspects appear to have known each other through the Assyrian community. Several other posts show Chamaki and the two Akoyans together at gun ranges, MMA fights and other social activities.
