Suni Lee sparks OG Anunoby dating rumors with response to 'messy' Knicks question

Suni Lee and OG Anunoby are sparking romance rumors once again with the Olympic gymnast's latest interview.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist was a guest on the "First We Feast" podcast when she was asked to answer a question during the "Hot Take" segment. The host shares the hot take that "the New York Knicks will win the 2026 championship."

Before Lee answers, she says, "That's so messy," and puts up her green thumb card in agreement. 

"I know. I know," the host responds. "I'm just going to say yes because we have to kind of right..."

The host then interrupts herself and says, "Well you definitely have to."

Lee begins giggling and responds, "That is so messy, but yeah, we're going to have to agree and move on."

"We love the Knicks, we're rooting for you!" the host concludes the segment.

Lee and the Knicks power forward have been sparking romance rumors since last season when the gymnast was often seen supporting the team. She did clear up romance rumors between her and Anunoby stating that the two are just friends and she's a fan of the team.

“Honestly, it just started off as a joke, and I feel like social media kind of just, like, took it further than that,” the the Team USA star told Mirror U.S. Sports. “But yeah, we’re just friends, and I’m really good friends with a bunch of the guys on the Knicks team, like [Karl-Anthony Towns], and then also I’m really close to [Towns’ partner Jordyn Woods] as well, so it’s cool to see them doing their thing. Honestly, I just enjoy watching basketball, which is why I went to most of the games.

“There’s nothing there. We’re just friends," she added. "I fully support all of them, and I support the Knicks.”

Despite the gymnast clearing up romance rumors, she did, however share some of her  dating preferences last month when she was a guest on the "HAHA Podcast."

"I think it's really funny," Lee said. "Sometimes I can't tell if it's just like a joke or if they're being for real, but it's really funny to me."

Lee shared some of her dating preferences as well, including that she would only want to date a guy who is five years older than her. Besides age, she shared that she is not scared to show how he feels about her and will, importantly, make her laugh.

The Olympic gymnast also shared what her ideal type is in a partner.

"I feel like my type is, like, athletes. I like a very emotionally intelligent man because I feel like a lot of the guys that I've, like, talked to or come across, they always just end up being so immature."

It's unclear if her relationship status has changed since her previous comments about Anunoby, given the new interview. We're just going to have to see when or if there's an update.
