Met Gala 2025: Gigi Hadid Reveals What's She's Changing About Herself in Her 30s
No surprise that Suki Waterhouse’s Met Gala 2025 look has everyone saying “OMG.”
The Daisy Jones & the Six actress arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art May 5 in a Michael Kors creation that was crafted from a suit in keeping with the 2025 theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” (Check out all the looks here.)
"Michael has deconstructed a jacket and taken out the panels and made it into a train, which I was obsessed with," the musician explained to E!'s Zuri Hall. "I loved his take on it. I definitely feel very tailored, and this is exactly how I want to be this year. So I feel great, and Michael's just such a visionary and genius."
And while she said she felt "amazing" in the look, most importantly, she added, "for the first time, it's actually pretty easy to move in."
Which is key, considering just how much she sinks her teeth into the annual event.
"I stay out late on Met Gala nights," Suki admitted to E!. "Last year, it was, like, 6 a.m. and then I got on a plane afterwards. The parties are really good. And there are so many parties you can just hop around and go to, like, 10 different parties."
Though she may make it to bed before the sun comes out this year.
Since welcoming her daughter with fiancé Robert Pattinson last March, "I have a baby now," she acknowledged, "so I have a feeling I'm not going to make it all that late."
While she ventured out to the 2025 Met Gala as a solo act, two years ago she and Robert made their Met steps debut as a couple in a rare date night five months after they hard launched their relationship at Dior’s fall 2023 menswear show. For the evening’s theme “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” Suki stunned in Fendi, and Robert complemented her in Dior.
The musician’s first appearance at the annual event was in 2014 where she walked the steps in a pink gown designed by Burberry for the theme “Charles James: Beyond Fashion,” attending with then-boyfriend Bradley Cooper.

“I loved wearing Fendi to the Met Ball a couple of months ago, but my all-time favorite moment has to be my first ever Met,” she detailed to Harper’s Bazaar in July 2023. “It was years ago, when I wore the most beautiful Burberry pink rose dress made for me.”
The “Melrose Meltdown” singer is known for her 70s-inspired style, often wearing sheer fabrics and fringes for a free-spirited look. But she insists her personal style is always evolving.
“I find it so interesting with fashion how new eras can come in, and then suddenly something you would never have worn a few years ago, you can't get enough of,” she shared with Harper’s Bazaar. “You could never have told me that I would be into wearing mini skirts; recently all I want to wear is denim mini skirts, am I 15 again?”
“I'd like to say my style is probably in the best place it's ever been currently, just because you get wiser, as going into my 30s I feel a little bit of a shift,” she continued. “You're a little more aware of presentation – I'm not just walking outside my house looking like complete garbage, instead wanting to feel elegant and tuning in to how much that helps me find my place in the world.”
Now, Suki is in her motherhood era. She and Robert continue to share their love and excitement to be parents since welcoming their daughter in March 2024. In fact, their daughter inspired Suki’s 2024 song, “Big Love.”

“It's this big, kind of explosive song about, a search for love, or feeling this like huge, sort of like, biblical love,” Suki told Today in December 2024. “Just being with my daughter in the last six months, I really feel kind of like, heart explosion.”
