Perez Hilton shared his reaction to Britney Spears’ latest Instagram activity after the singer returned to the platform with a cryptic post following her brief disappearance. In his November 13 article on his website, the podcaster addressed Spears’ sudden comeback and expressed concern over her recent social media behavior.
Referring to her unexpected post, Hilton wrote:
“STUCK in Mexico?? Oh no! Is this where she was when she deleted her IG?”In his website article, Perez Hilton explained that the pop icon had deleted her Instagram account earlier in November amid renewed attention on her personal life, particularly following backlash from Kevin Federline’s latest memoir. However, just days later, Spears reappeared on the platform and posted what Hilton described as a “lingerie pic.”
By November 12, the blogger noted that Britney Spears had uploaded a “new video” of herself, "posing for the camera in normal Britney fashion.” Hilton pointed out that she even slipped into her “classic British accent” during the clip. However, what caught everyone’s attention was the caption that accompanied the post.
In her latest upload, Spears wrote candidly about feeling trapped and isolated during an apparent stay in Mexico. She revealed glimpses of vulnerability and self-reflection, as she explained:
“Got stuck in Mexico for two weeks and I was banging my head against the wall… It’s quite interesting to see what a person does in vulnerable situations … I obviously trusted no one and entertained myself like a f**king idiot … It’s actually insane !!! The one time due to the depths of insanity I think I said my name for the first time in years …”Referring to this caption, Perez Hilton interpreted it as a troubling sign of distress, remarking that it sounded like Spears had endured a difficult and lonely experience. He sympathized with her situation, writing:
“Sounds like a pretty awful time! We’re glad to hear she’s no longer stuck in Mexico and isn’t feeling ‘insane’ from isolation anymore. That couldn’t have been a good feeling.”He further expressed concern for the singer’s well-being, adding that her words felt like a “shocking confession,” and he hoped she was doing okay after such an emotional revelation.

Britney Spears (Image via Getty Images)According to a Page Six report dated November 2, 2025, pop icon Britney Spears deleted her Instagram account following a series of posts that reportedly alarmed her family and reignited public concern about her well-being.
By Sunday, November 2, Spears’ Instagram account displayed a message reading, “Sorry, this page isn’t available to view.” The platform confirmed that the page “may have been removed.” However, her X (formerly Twitter) account remained active.
Just days later, on November 7, the Me Against the Music singer reactivated her Instagram, this time with a message that seemed focused on personal growth and self-preservation.
In her post, Spears reflected on the challenges of the past year and emphasized the importance of setting boundaries. She encouraged her followers to stay grounded and prioritize themselves, writing:
“So much has happened this year, it’s crazy … Get your ballerina [slippers], circle, and own your boundaries. It’s incredibly strict and somewhat of a form of prayer but with so many endless possibilities in life, it’s important to do you and keep it simple.”Before deactivating her account, Britney Spears had opened up about one of the darkest chapters of her life, her time in a rehabilitation facility during the final phase of her 13-year conservatorship.
She described the experience as deeply “traumatic,” explaining that her personal freedom was completely stripped away. Spears alleged that for four months, she was “illegally forced” to remain confined and denied basic autonomy.
“For 4 months I no longer had my private door and illegally was forced to not use my feet or body to go anywhere,” Britney Spears wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post October 19, as per People Magazine. In the same since-deleted post, Spears also revealed the lasting psychological toll the experience had on her.
She wrote that she felt as though her “logic and mindfulness” were “100 percent murdered and destroyed,” and that it was as if her “wings were taken away.”
The singer’s emotional posts came just as her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, began promoting his memoir You Thought You Knew.
In the book, Federline reportedly addressed his “concerns” about Spears’ current “situation” and discussed the strained relationship she shared with their sons, Sean Preston, and Jayden James.
Ahead of the memoir’s release, Spears also took to X to respond to Federline’s remarks, calling his “constant gaslighting” both “extremely hurtful and exhausting.”
She expressed frustration over what she perceived as ongoing attempts to undermine her publicly.
“I have always pleaded and screamed to have a life with my boys…Relationships with teenage boys is complex. I have felt demoralized by this situation and have always asked and almost begged for them to be a part of my life,” Britney Spears wrote in a post on X dated October 16.In the same post, Spears also addressed Federline’s memoir more directly, describing it as a series of “white lies” that only caused her pain. She said she felt like she was “the only one who genuinely gets hurt” by these repeated public narratives, asserting that she spoke out because she had “had enough” and, as she put it, “any real woman would do the same.”
Despite being back on social media, Britney Spears is currently navigating a challenging period with renewed public attention surrounding her life and mental health.
