Stitch is coming to Marvel…on variant covers anyway

7 hours ago 2

Stitch is everywhere. The lovable blue alien has become one of Disney’s most beloved – and marketable – animated characters in recent years, and you can find him on everything from t-shirts to tumblers to earbuds to Crocs. The smash it live action Lilo and Stitch movie earlier this year unleashed “Stitch Frenzy” on the world.

Corporate synergies being what they are, why can’t Stitch come to Marvel? And so he has!

Just in time to celebrate 626 Day, Marvel has announced that everyone’s favorite adorable alien experiment will cameo in a collection of classic Marvel covers. Stitch is bringing his playful chaos to the upcoming issues of Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers, Captain America, Fantastic Four, and X-Men. The artwork will be done by the lineup Paco Medina, Phil Noto, Humberto Ramos, Ben Su, and Luciano Vecchio, who will pay homage to the milestone 100th issue of each respective series.
