Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry has taken a major step towards returning to game action for Golden State.
Curry has been sidelined since late January with patellofemoral pain syndrome, or runner's knee. He has missed 25 straight games due to the injury, but a return may be on the horizon.
Steph Curry cleared for five-on-five scrimmage
Per ESPN, Curry finally received the medical clearance to compete in a five-on-five scrimmage. It will be Curry's first full five-on-five action since he has been out of the lineup.
Curry will not play against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night, and he's unlikely to play against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night. His return could come against the Houston Rockets on Sunday night.
