Steph Curry took a break from trying to rehabilitate a playoff injury on Sunday, May 11, to show some love to the real MVP at home: his wife, Ayesha Curry.
In a thoughtful Instagram post the Warriors star shared a carousel of candid family photos, including snaps of Ayesha cuddling with their youngest and spending time with their four kids. Alongside the images, Steph delivered a sincere message of gratitude.
“Not enough words to describe what you mean to our family—all the sacrifice, holding down the fort while I’m gone,” he wrote. “All the road trips, the crazy schedules, the missed holidays, through it all you’re the backbone of our family. Couldn’t do any of this without you and our four babies are beyond blessed to have you as their Mama!”
The tribute sparked a wave of appreciation from fans, many of whom chimed in with Mother’s Day wishes — and a few jokes about Curry’s current injury status.
“Steph take my leg, I don’t need it,” one commenter wrote. Another added, “Tell Ayesha to massage that hammy and get ready for Game 4 — these cats can't hang without you.”
Dub Nation is hoping Curry can return in time to help the Warriors battle the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round of the NBA Playoffs.
Steph, 37 and Ayesha, 36, have been married since 2011 and share four kids: Riley, Ryan, Canon, and their newest, Caius, born in 2024. Ayesha has built her own brand as a chef, entrepreneur, and TV personality while raising the family often out of the spotlight.
But on Mother’s Day, Steph made sure the spotlight found her.
