Stefon Diggs gives update on Cardi B relationship followed heated exchange

Stefon Diggs is shedding light on Cardi B and his relationship after they went viral for a heated disagreement last month.

A video circulated of the two at a coffee shop in Maryland, where Cardi appears to be upset with the NFL star. However, when asked about the video, he did not pay it any mind.

"It's okay. Women get like that sometimes," he told TMZ on June 3.

Instead, he described the Grammy-winning rapper as "beautiful."

"That's my child's mother. I love her to death," he said.

When asked about where they stood in their relationship, he simply responded, "You have to ask her.” 

Cardi already addressed the viral video after it began circulating online. She chalked it up to just being hungry.

"Sometimes I forget I'm a celebrity… damn y'all ain't never cuss your babydad out when you hungry?"

Cardi and Diggs went public with their relationship in June last year when the rapper shared a photo of them on Instagram. In November, they welcomed their first child together. 

However, in February, when the former New England Patriots wide receiver was gearing up for the Super Bowl against the Seattle Seahawks -- he was released from the team in March -- the couple seemed to be on a rocky road. 

A source told People at the time that  Cardi "pulled away from the drama in February."

"She didn't trust him and felt like things were going on behind her back," the source said. "She wasn't in a place emotionally to deal with fighting and tension."

In recent months, the two seemingly rekindled their romance as Diggs supported her on Little Miss Drama tour and Cardi also appeared at his "Diggs Deep Foundation" Mother’s Day wellness event.
