The Pittsburgh Steelers are making a much-needed addition to their wide receivers room, although it remains to be seen if it'll move the needle all that much.
According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the Steelers are signing veteran wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling. It isn't clear if he'll be added to the practice squad or the 53-man roster.
"Free agent receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling plans to sign with the Steelers, per source. Reuniting with Aaron Rodgers from their Green Bay days," Fowler wrote.
Nevertheless, the addition of MVS, who worked out for the Steelers on Monday, offers at least some hope for a reinforcement in the wide receivers room.
Unfortunately, MVS can't play defense, also, where the Steelers are struggling mightily.
But, hey, it you can't stop 'em, outscore 'em.
