This is reaching the point of being unbelievable.
Somehow, Shedeur Sanders is still available in the NFL Draft.
He slid all the way into the third round, but that was supposed to be the end of it.
The Pittsburgh Steelers were making their next pick at No. 83 overall. Surely, that'd be Sanders.
Except the Steelers didn't take Sanders. Nobody has.
MORE: The real reason Shedeur Sanders wasn't picked in the first round
As Friday night threatens to reach Saturday's fourth round, Sanders is still available.
He spent much of the college season considered as an option to ascend to the No. 1 overall pick, competing with Cam Ward for that honor.
Ward did end up at No. 1. The Colorado QB Sanders is still waiting.
on Shedeur Sanders
the Steelers needed a QB... badly... and they passed on Sanders, TWICE, once in the first round and again in the 3rd round
he had strong ties to Tom Brady... but the Raiders, with a need a QB, passed on him THREE times, at 3, 58 and 68

This is a shocking slide.
The Aaron Rodgers slide has been brought up, but even he only fell to the 24th pick.
Sanders is in total free fall.
It's hard to understand how draft projectors were this far off on Sanders.
Maybe news will emerge in the coming days that explains it, but maybe not.
All that's for sure is that Sanders is going to go later in this draft than even the boldest predictor would suggest.
Unbelievable, truly.
