Steelers, Patriots, Chiefs, Giants could show interest in Vikings 22-TD trade candidate

The Minnesota Vikings are hoping to see a bounce-back season from wide receiver Jordan Addison in 2026, but one NFL analyst believes Minnesota should consider moving Addison this offseason.

Pro Football Focus's John Kosko considers Addison as the most valuable trade asset on the Vikings, and could see Minnesota dealing him to bolster other positions of need.

"The talent is evident, and a contending team in need of a WR2 or WR3 could benefit from his skill set. With Minnesota needing to add depth on defense, moving Addison could bring back valuable assets to help address those areas," Kosko said.

Addison had a down year in 2025 with just 42 receptions for 610 yards and two touchdowns. The 24-year-old showed promise in his first two seasons, tallying over 900 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2023, and another nine touchdowns with 875 yards in 2024.

There are plenty of receiver-needy teams that would be interested in trading for Addison. The Pittsburgh Steelers, New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, and New York Giants are a few that come to mind immediately.

However, with the amount of talent Addison possesses, Minnesota should look to retain him for another year and see what he could do in a make-or-break 2026 season.

Additionally, the Vikings don't have much talent at receiver behind Addison and Justin Jefferson, and the team needs as much talent as possible on offense, especially with their quarterback situation in an uncertain spot.

Overall, the Steelers, Patriots, Chiefs, and Giants should keep an eye on Addison's situation in Minnesota. All four teams would benefit greatly from having Addison in their receiver rooms, but it remains to be seen whether the Vokiongs will actually be willing to move him.
