‘Krusher Queen’ Kana Morimoto of Japan was triumphant on home soil at ONE 173, outclassing Thai fan favorite Stamp Fairtex after three rounds in their atomweight kickboxing battle.
The Team Aftermath affiliate showcased her best form yet, leaving the former three-sport queen behind with her incredible speed and lightning-fast punch combinations on Nov. 16 at Ariake Arena in Tokyo.
After the intense bout, Kana acknowledged Stamp’s courage to accept a difficult fight, especially after coming from a lengthy layoff from competition.
This was the 28-year-old megastar’s first fight back in two years after recovering from a torn meniscus.

Despite the ring rust, Stamp still came in phenomenal shape. She still had moments in the fight, pushing Kana to dig deep and make adjustments on the fly.
‘Krusher Queen’ had nothing but praise for Stamp during the ONE 173 post-fight press conference:
"Despite having that time off, having the ring rust. I was happy that Stamp came in in incredible condition. And it was in the first round that I started to adjust my distance and kind of get the distance, and I felt that in the second and third rounds, if I had a chance, I would have been able to put her out."Kana says Stamp was tough as nails
Kana knew she was dominating the contest and amped up the pressure in the final round to secure the big knockout finish.
But Stamp absorbed her best shots and stayed on her feet the entire fight, earning her the admiration of the Japanese star.
'Krusher Queen' said during her post-fight interview:
"First of all, thank you, everybody, for the support, and secondly, to Stamp for accepting this fight after the long layoff. Please give her a huge round of applause.”“I was able to put the pressure on, utilize the strong points of my game, but she was so tough, and she didn't go do."Why did you not like this content?
