With the NBA trade deadline passing, teams are starting to waive/buy out certain players.
The Spurs are the latest team to part ways with a notable player, waiving their former 9th overall pick on Wednesday afternoon.
Which Spurs 6-foot-8 top-10 pick did the team waive?
ESPN's Shams Charania reported the Spurs waived forward Jeremy Sochan.
Sochan was the 9th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.

He played a large role with the team in his first 2-3 seasons, starting a lot of games, but has fallen out/slid down the rotation this season (4th year in the league).
He's averaged just 12.8 minutes and played in 28 games, after averaging 25.0+ minutes in all three seasons prior.
Charania detailed that Sochan will receive interest from several teams, as he's now a free agent and can sign with a team of his choice.
The Spurs' move to waive Sochan seemed bound to happen after he survived the deadline, as the team has been able to replace his production this year
