Rory McIlroy took a six-shot lead into Saturday at the Masters, but the tournament quickly flipped in the third round on moving day.
McIlroy produced his worst round of the tournament thus far, scoring a 73 as he struggled off the tee. Meanwhile, the competition around him made its way up the leaderboard, as McIlroy's six-shot lead slowly shrunk.
While McIlroy still has the lead at -11, he is tied with Cameron Young. The American started the tournament +4 through seven holes, but proceeded to go -15 from then on, including shooting a 65 on Saturday afternoon to chase down McIlroy.

While Young and McIlroy represent the final pair on Sunday, there are a handful of contenders for this year's green jacket. Sam Burns used a bogey-free round to sit one-shot back of the leaders, While Shane Lowry's ace on No. 6 helped him get to -9.
Justin Rose and Jason Day also had solid performances to put them just three-shots back of the leaders. Although the tournament appeared to be a runaway, it's only just starting on Sunday.

12:15 p.m.: Hovland is now -5 on the day and -4 for the tournament after another birdie, while Hideki Matsuyama has also reached -4 for the week.
11:54 a.m.: Rahm, Keegan Bradley and Viktor Hovland are the hottest players on the golf course right now, as they've each run into a string of birdies on the front nine.
11:12 a.m.: Sergio Garcia is having a tough day out on the course, as he had a mini outburst following a poor tee shot.

10:03 a.m.: The final round of the Masters is underway with a few big names out on the course. Jon Rahm had an early birdie to get to +4, while Gary Woodland is now at +5.
Round 3
7:00 p.m.: McIlroy's day ends with a score of 73, putting him in a tie with Cam Young entering tomorrow. Those two will be paired together last in the final round.
6:54 p.m.: Justin Rose is in at -8 as he looks for his first green jacket Rose joins Day and Lowry with those looming right behind the big three.
6:46 p.m.: McIlroy drops another shot on 17 to once again put him in a tie with Young. He put himself in a bad position with another poor driver that came back to haunt him.
6:23 p.m.: McIlroy has now produced back-to-back birdies, this time with a strong 15th that almost replicated what he did last year.

4:51 p.m.: Cam Young becomes the second player to hit -10 after birdieing the 13th hole. He caught a break off the drive, hitting a tree and ricocheting into the fairway.
4:41 p.m.: For the first time today it feels like players are collecting bogeys together while McIlroy has been par-heavy since the third hole.
4:24 p.m.: Scheffler produces a brilliant up-and-down to end his day at -7. He shot a 65 a put himself in position for a run tomorrow.

The 2026 Masters Tournament will be aired across multiple TV and streaming platforms.
For Round 1 (Thursday) and Round 2 (Friday), ESPN will have the main TV afternoon coverage, which begins at 3 p.m. ET each day. From 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., earlier coverage will also be available through Prime Video.
Then, for Saturday's Round 3 and Sunday's Round 4, it will be CBS that takes over the main p TV coverage, broadcasting from 3-7:30 p.m. ET on both days. Before then, from 12-2 p.m. ET, early coverage of both rounds will be available through Paramount+.
Both TV broadcasts from ESPN and CBS can be streamed through fubo, which offers a free trial. Live broadcasts also will be available via Masters.com and the Masters app.
