SPOILER: Rhea Ripley Pinned In Huge Shock - Only 2 Other Stars Have In 2025 (December 22, RAW)

Rhea Ripley has been one of the most dominant stars in WWE yet again this year, but unfortunately, she has picked up another loss tonight. The star has suffered a shock loss as she was pinned by an old rival.

Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY have been a strong team but now, things are not going well

Heading into the last shows for RAW, tonight was a taping of the red brand's show for the December 22 event. The show was opened with Ripley facing Asuka in the opening match for the night.

Asuka and Kairi Sane have been after Ripley and IYO SKY for quite some time, and even with the newly founded friends tag team coming after them and their titles, things have not been easy. While the two have been after the tag team titles, they have not been successful, as the Kabuki Warriors have established themselves as champions.

Now, in the opening mach of the tapings of RAW, things have gone south even worse. Ripley was distracted enough with what was happening outside the ring with IYO SKY and Kairi Sane, that Asuka was able to take advantage and pin Rhea Ripley wioth a roll up to get the win over the star.

Asuka pinning Rhea Ripley has added her to an important list for 2025

Given how dominant Ripley has been through 2025, this means that she has mostly been undefeated and stayed away from the other crowd of stars who have suffered several defeats.

However, while Ripley has lost her fair share of matches this year, there have been only three stars who have pinned her. Asuka has joined the list as the third superstar in that category, only with Rhea's current tag team partner IYO SKY and former Women's World Champion Naomi.

That's a distinguished list to be a part of. It remains to be seen if this puts a dampener on the title aspirations for SKY and Ripley.
