SPOILER: New champion in AEW crowned; Mercedes Moné finally dethroned

During the taping for one of AEW's upcoming shows, fans in attendance got to witness Mercedes Moné dropping another one of her belts. A popular star on the roster finally beat Moné on her third try.

The CEO was able to hit a major milestone this year, having held 13 belts simultaneously. However, at Final Battle, she ended up dropping the ROH Women's TV Championship to Red Velvet. This began to break her composure, and it seems like she needed to prove to herself that this was just a fluke.

Earlier today, the tapings for AEW Holiday Bash, which combines both Dynamite and Collision, took place. Mercedes Moné is scheduled for an eight-woman tag team match on the show, but it seems like she competed in another match, putting the RevPro Undisputed British Women's title on the line against Alex Windsor. To the shock of many, Windsor has just pulled off the win and dethroned Mercedes.

Moné instantly drops two of her belts, leaving her with only 10 more left. This was seemingly part of the Collision portion of tonight's show. However, this show will be split into two parts, with one hour airing later tonight and the other airing this Saturday. It remains to be seen whether fans will get to see this moment tonight.

Mercedes Moné recently put 4 of her belts on the line in one match

With the number of belts she has, Mercedes Moné also has an obligation to defend every one of these. Now that AEW was in the United Kingdom, she had the chance to go to RevPro and defend her belts.

During their Uprising show, she put 4 of her belts on the line. These were the two belts that make up the Undisputed British Championship, the EWA Women's Championship, and the Discovery Wrestling Women's title. She put all of these on the line against Rhio and was able to successfully defend them.

Despite her recent setbacks, Mercedes Moné is still in possession of 10 belts from companies around the world. This includes the TBS Championship. She'll have to stay composed despite everything, or she might end up losing more of her belts.
